community events
Stuart Services actively contributes to the Greater New Orleans Community through donations, sponsorships and events like these:
Second Harvest of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana
Thanks to your contributions to our SECOND ANNUAL FOOD DRIVE, we surpassed our goal of 750 lbs and raised 980 pounds of food to donate to Second Harvest!
The New Orleans Adolescent Hospital's mission is to provide quality professional psychiatric care to emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. Stuart Services gladly donates toys and gifts to the hospital to support their "Operation Happy Child" program. Alison Dillmann, Director of Volunteer Services, says, "Because of your generosity, the emotionally disturbed youth that we serve had a delightful holiday season."
Children's Hospital is Louisiana's only full-service hospital exclusively for children, offering a full range of inpatient and outpatient care. A not-for-profit facility, the hospital relies on its revenue and donors to host great events like the Annual Run Forrest Run 5k race. Stuart Services is a proud member of the race sponorship.
SkillsUSA – Louisiana Technical College, River Parishes Campus
SkillsUSA complements technical skills training with instruction in "employability skills." The program develops creativity, problem-solving skills, team work, leadership, self-esteem and integrity – all necessary competencies and foundation skills. It also introduces students to the corporate quality culture and emphasizes the dignity of work, high standards in trade ethics and workmanship, life-long learning and job safety. *Adapted from www.laskillsusa.org.
Stuart Services is more than happy to support such a vital cause because, simply, we believe that good workers produce quality work.
Stuart Services makes donations to the Carrollton Booster Club which helps pay for the expenses of running their ballpark and sports programs. Beyond the gratification of helping a local organization, we see it as a valuable opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our children.
