ABOUT STUART SERVICES
Established in 1956 by Carl G. Stuart, Stuart Electric began with two employees, Carl and one assistant. They installed circuits for window air conditioning units that customers purchased from major appliance stores. After a few years and a lot of word-of-mouth advertising, Stuart Electric obtained exclusive contracts from local companies such as Comeaux's and Levine's. Because of their quality service, they were recommended to other companies like Universal Furniture, Carrollton Refrigeration, Campo Appliances, Kirschman’s, Schwegamann’s and Maison Blanche, who enlisted their electrical expertise. By 1964, Stuart Electric had grown to a ten-man operation and moved to 724 Little Farms Avenue in River Ridge.
In 1990, Carl began searching for potential buyers for his business. In early 1991, he and Jude G. Raspino, Jr. began negotiations to transfer ownership of the company. On April 22, 1991 the papers were signed and the deal became final. Since that day, Jude and his team have worked hard to turn Stuart Electric – now Stuart Services – into a major force in the service and repair business.
In 1998, Stuart Services moved to their current location at 4724 Utica Street in Metairie. Their team has grown to 27, with a business plan aimed at 100 employees. Every year, Stuart Services sets new goals to improve their business for both customers and employees. They now offer Plumbing, Air Conditioning and Heating services in addition to their Electrical Service division.
Stuart Services has grown into a leading service and repair provider covering the entire Greater New Orleans area and the Northshore. With their eyes on the future, Jude and his team continue to improve their business while serving the people of New Orleans with courtesy and professionalism.

Jude G. Raspino, Jr.

Jude has honed his management and business leadership skills through two national service business associations, Contractors 2000 and International Service Leadership. Jude also has a practical knowledge of the service trades, starting in the electrical and air conditioning business in 1975. Jude currently holds State Contracting licenses for both the electrical and mechanical trades, has graduated from the Gold Star Management Academy in Minnesota, The BOSS or Business Owners School of Success, and has taught business classes to fellow service contractors.
Darren S. Bell
Vice President/Service Manager
Darren has been on our team since 1993. When Darren joined Stuart Services as a technician, most of his experience was in new construction. He studied customer service, attended a quality control training program taught by Stuart Services, and was always a leader among his peers. In recognition of his management qualities and loyalty, Darren was promoted to Service Manager in 2001. Darren is also a graduate of the Gold Star Management Academy. He is not only responsible for oversight of the service department logistics, but also administers technician training, proficiency, sales management and quality control.
Julie Buras
Office Manager, Accounts Payable and Human Resources
Julie has been a motivated member of our team since 2000. She is experienced in all aspects of the positions at Stuart Services, having working in our Dispatch Department, Customer Service and Accounts Receivable. Julie is a rewarding team player with excellent leadership skills. Because of her commitment and dedication, Julie was recently appointed the position of Office Manager.
A. Jean Anderson
Dispatch Manager and Customer Service Representative
Jean is the anchor of our Service and Dispatch Center. She has been with Stuart Services since 1977. Jean juggles many tasks every day from dispatching the service technicians to coordinating with the inspection and permit departments, she is truly the backbone of our great customer service. In addition to the afore mentioned duties, Jean has earned a Gold Star rating in Customer Service.
